Quiver Tree Forest, Keetmanshoop, Namibia by http://ift.tt/2l1azDg

Quiver tree (Aloe dichotoma) is not really a tree, rather a plant of the genus aloe, as evident from its scientific name, and one of the few species of aloe that reaches tree proportions — it can grow 7 to 9 meters high. Quiver Tree Forest is not really a forest despite having some 250 samples growing in a rather small and confined area. The tree which is not a tree and the forest which is not a forest is a magical and true photographic playground. Technical Details: Nikon D800E Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 @ 31mm 1/3s @ f/9.0 RAW ISO 100 02/03/2017 @ 20:32 Please, write ONLY honest/personal critiques.
