Hoodoo Milky Way by Squirrel Girl cbk

OK, the blue in the sky is just a little much, but for some reason, I really like it. That light on the horizon is Bluff, UT. Edit: I meant to put in the description that I scoped out some hoodoos in the daylight, then napped until the Milky Way came up. On the way back to my truck, I detoured to some other hoodoos for more shots. On the way back, I got lost in the dark!!!! :-) I figured the worst that could happen is that I'd have to stop, lie down in the sand, and wait until dawn. In the end, I retraced my footsteps (difficult in places due to cow prints), then found a spot I recognized and made it back to home base and slept blissfully on my new cot until well after sunrise. http://flic.kr/p/VM6Bfh
