Macro Mondays - Spiral - Filament Wire (In Explore 24th October 2017) by andymoore732

For this week’s Macro Mondays ‘Spiral’ theme, I have chosen to photograph the spiral filament wire that is found in a lamp bulb. I raided the ‘prop box’ this week and came across the broken lamp that I used for the ‘Broken’ theme from back in June. The little spiral filament wire used in the lamp was an obvious choice! I hope a little silhouette and some shallow depth of field really draws the eye to the point of interest! A simple ingle light set up this week: One Bowens studio strobe, with the light directed on to the background, with was covered in some transparent orange acetate.
