Caledonian winter by Richard Hunter ARPS

I discovered this lovely lone Caledonian pine tree near Tyndrum a few weeks back and have visited it about 5 times since despite it being a 50 mile drive and an hours hike. On Saturday I finally got the conditions I felt did the tree justice. The snow was 2 to 3 feet deep so it was a tiring walk but the light and conditions were gorgeous and helped create the minimalist and almost Japanese feel. Is it too minimalist for you ? For me I think it works reasonably well but please give me your thoughts and critiques as I'm always very interested to hear your ideas. https://flic.kr/p/JQri3T
