I don't think I prepared myself for the adrenaline rush that I would get when viewing Kalapana lava flowing into the ocean. Kilauea's episode 61g flow entering the ocean at Kamokuna, Hawaii is simply mind blowing and puts your senses in a different realm. The sights and sounds combined with the smells is unlike anything that I have experienced before in my life.
